I. Delivery and Installation Expectations

A. Work Hours: Deliveries and installations are during business hours (8am-5pm, Mon-Fri). After-hours or weekend requests may incur extra charges.

B. Accessibility: Access to the job site must be provided as agreed. Lack of access may result in additional charges.

C. Job Site Conditions: The site must be clean and ready for installation. Utilities and elevator service (if available) should be provided at no charge. Extra charges may apply for additional labor or stair carries.

D. Inspection of Goods: Brame will inspect products upon arrival and report any issues. The customer must inspect and accept the products upon delivery.

E. Responsibility and Ownership: o Brame Deliveries: Ownership transfers to the customer upon delivery acceptance. o Common Carrier Deliveries: Ownership is subject to the manufacturer’s FOB terms.

F. Contractor Installations: Brame is not responsible for contractor-required installations (e.g., electrical, plumbing). The customer must arrange these unless otherwise agreed. The timing of work is the responsibility of the customer, and any returns trips required from Brame to complete installation may incur additional charges.

G. Installment Deliveries: Brame may deliver and invoice products as they become available unless otherwise agreed.

II. Order Changes and Cancellations

A. Schedule Changes: Redelivery or rescheduling requires at least 24 hours’ notice. Additional fees may apply for reconsignment, redelivery, and storage. Brame will, in coordination with the customer, reschedule delivery or installation to a time that suits both parties’ schedules.

B. Return Trips: Additional charges may apply for return trips not caused by Brame.

C. Additional Labor: Extra labor outside the original scope may incur additional charges at the standard hourly rate.

D. Delays and Storage Fees: If the customer delays delivery (including construction delays), products will be stored until delivery can resume. Brame will wait 30 days after the scheduled delivery date before invoicing. Any additional storage costs will be the customer’s responsibility.

III. Lead Times

A. Lead Times: Brame will make every effort to accurately estimate lead times and to obtain delivery in accordance with that timeline.

B. Vendor Delays: Brame is not responsible for vendor delays but will work to minimize the impact.

IV. Returns and Refusals

A. Returns: Special order products cannot be returned without written permission. If allowed, returns must be made within 30 days with a 30% restocking fee and return shipping charges. Dissatisfaction with the selected and approved fabrics, laminates, or finishes are not valid reasons to return product. We recommend customers thoroughly consider these specifications in advance to ensure their satisfaction

B. Refusal of Merchandise: Orders refused by the customer will incur a 30% restocking fee, labor, and freight charges.

V. Direct Shipments

A. Reasonable Accommodation: Make accommodation for delivery drivers to avoid extra freight charges. Contact Brame for concerns.

B. Inspection: Inspect shipments for damages and note them on the delivery ticket. Report damages to Brame immediately. Concealed damage claims can be made within 5 days.

VI. Damages

A. Damage Claims: Brame will handle and resolve damage claims noted on delivery tickets. Customers should provide photos for concealed damage claims.

B. Replacement of Damaged Goods: Brame will replace damaged products, subject to lead times. Invoicing will not be withheld until replacements are available.

VII. Warranties

A. Brame Warranty: Brame will accept returns and replace defective products within 30 days of delivery. Defects do not include damage.

B. Manufacturers’ Warranties: After 30 days, defective products are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty. Brame will assist with warranty claims. *Due to economic circumstances beyond Brame’s control, tariff surcharges will be applied to all new orders and quotes, effective immediately. These surcharge fees will vary per manufacturer. We are committed to monitoring the developments and will take immediate action to eliminate this surcharge once the tariffs are lifted.
